Dear members of the India Islamic Cultural
Centre (IICC) family,

I take this opportunity to present myself before you as a Presidential candidate in the forthcoming IICC Elections 2024 that are due on 11 August 2024. A majority of you will be casting your votes physically at the IICC New Delhi, while about a fourth of you will be sending in their choices by postal ballot/e-ballot.

I enclose a brief profile about myself for the purpose of acquainting you with my background, education, experience and my views and vision regarding the IICC. I urge you to please go through it.

If you feel that there was a lack of transparency and democracy in the running of this institution, that it has offered nothing substantial to its members and you would like to see that change, I offer you three assurances. One, I will devote time to this institution; two, I will honestly and diligently work for the betterment of IICC and endeavour to raise its stature in India and internationally; and three, I will constantly seek to consult all of you before taking any major decisions. I am not the one to give false promises or make tall claims, and I assure you that I will do my best.

Friends, if you really want the situation to improve, and want to bring about change, you would like to consider casting your valuable vote in my favour and also consider voting for competent people who are ready to set aside personal agendas and differences and join this mission with me. I will announce our team separately.

I believe that every member’s vote counts and that you will take an objective and informed decision; hence please do vote!
